First Steps

Our First Steps program is designed specifically for children ages 0–3, which is the key age for language acquisition, known as the “language absorption age.”
 

Therefore, daily exposure to English in a natural and supportive kindergarten environment allows children to acquire a solid foundation in the language.

Our native English-speaking staff arrive at your kindergarten and become part of the children’s daily routine. We eat, play, sing, and talk in English, weaving the language into every familiar activity.

 

This exposure to English during routine activities, at the very age of language absorption, makes the process as natural as can be and highly successful. Much like in a bilingual family—where one parent speaks one language and the other speaks another—the child grows up in a bilingual environment, absorbing English as a living, everyday language.
